Silicon Valley to Silicon Prairie…
Born and raised on the East Coast, grew up mostly on the West Coast, and now reside on the Middle Coast. My first exposure to technology was coding BASIC and using Apples growing up in Silicon Valley. Somewhere along the way the Macintosh fell a little too far from the tree and I became a Windows/Google guy. Until we meet again, Cupertino. Follow me on Twitter and to learn more about my interests.
My professional career started as the first dedicated web guy at Safeco Insurance in Seattle in the 90′s. But not before teaching myself tools of the trade and putting up many content websites, i.e. blogs before there were blogs, Internet Radio stations, sites-for-hire, etc. Last several years have been spent freely moving about the country selling awesome enterprise software solutions to higher eds and non-profits.
I’ve recently joined forces with SquareOffs to help create the world’s first social poll. I’ve also begun work on two other projects — a data-as-a-service (DaaS) platform and an independent media brand.
